Hebrew High is a joint venture between Temple Beth El and Temple Israel.

Rabbi Beth Nichols, Director of Lifelong Jewish Lerning at Temple Beth El and Temple Israel’s Director of TIRS and Family Engagement Naomi Fabes work closely with our director, to create a cohesive and inclusive program, no matter if you identify as conservative, reform or somewhere in the middle!

The wonderful clergy from both synagogues, make the best teachers for our teens, as well as those community members who have given their time and love to our program since its inception.

    Born and raised in Mexico City, Daniela moved to Charlotte at age 13 when she was first introduced to the wonderful world of Hebrew High!

    Daniela has been a part of the Levine JCC community since then, getting the opportunity of working with many departments and many age groups has deeply affected the way that she sees the importance, beauty and diversity of the Charlotte Jewish Community.

    There is nothing more important than raising strong, independent Jewish teens who value who they are and understand the need to be a part of something bigger!
